Question 1

How does the open beta work?

Accepted Answer

Claim your spot with your work email and our automated onboarding sends an invitation link straight to your inbox. Beta members get full Pro tier access for free during the open beta, plus early-bird 50% off year one after official release.

Question 2

What are the pricing plans after the Beta period?

Accepted Answer

VelocyTrack offers a Free tier (€0 forever) for individual developers and a Pro Plan at €7/month per user (with a 30-day free trial). Team plans with cross-team capacity rollups will be announced in Phase 2. All beta members and anyone who signs up during the first month after official launch receive 50% off their first year.

Question 3

Does VelocyTrack store or clone our proprietary source code?

Accepted Answer

No. VelocyTrack never clones your repositories or stores source code files on its servers. We only interact with commit metadata, branch heads, pull request details, and work item fields via official APIs. All diff previews are rendered transiently in your browser session.

Question 4

How are my DevOps credentials and access tokens protected?

Accepted Answer

All Personal Access Tokens (PATs) and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and transmitted exclusively over TLS 1.3. We only request least-privilege scoped permissions, and live repository queries remain transient in browser memory.

Question 5

How does VelocyTrack differ from native Azure DevOps extensions (like 7pace)?

Accepted Answer

Traditional extensions run inside sluggish iframes inside single work item modals, lack multi-repo PR and branch intelligence, and charge high per-seat premiums. VelocyTrack is an external, ultra-fast (<3s) engineering cockpit that aggregates multiple repos, active branches, PR discussions, and automated capacity across your entire sprint.
